As you know if you’ve been in to see me in recent months, we have been renovating the office. A grand opening of the Delta Discovery Center is planned for just after the new year. We want to thank you for your patience as we all dealt with the mess that construction brings. It’s been a creative process … which is often messy.
My partner/wife, Gala Gorman, and I are change facilitators. We have come to accept the chaos that change brings as a sign that transformation is under way. If you’ve seen the before and after, we hope you’ll agree that the place has been transformed!
That brings me to my plans for the new year – 2018.
I’ve been in private practice for almost 3 years now. In that period, my rates have not increased. The rate for counseling has been $100 per hour (adjusted for the actual length of the session).
Beginning January 1, 2018, my rates will be increasing 10%. So, a one hour session will be $110 and a 90-minute session will be $165. Fortunately, there is a way for you to reduce … or even eliminate … the increase in your rate.

- Each month your account will be credited with 5 “tokens” which can be used to pay for some of the new services that we will be offering at the Center.
- Members receive a 10% discount for any programs and services purchased during the month (including counseling with me or packages for additional tokens).
- You have 90 days to use your tokens as long as your membership is maintained uninterrupted.
- With your member discount, additional token packages will cost $72 for 10 tokens or $135 for 20 tokens.
What Can You Do With Your Tokens?
- We have big plans for the Center and you’ll be the first to hear about new services and treatments we’re offering. Many services can be paid for with tokens. If they can’t be paid for with tokens, you’ll receive a 10% discount. A few of the services we’re working on that tokens can be used for are …
- Acupuncture Clinic – a session will be 5 tokens
- Mindful Movement Classes – a 90-minute class will be 2 tokens
- Massage Chairs – a 30-minute session will be 3 tokens
- Ionic Foot Detox – a session will be 4 tokens
- Sound Therapy – a session will be 5 tokens
- Meridian Stress Assessment – scan with report and 2 homeopathic balancing imprints will be 12 tokens
- And, we’re always looking for additional ways to enhance our offerings … which will make your membership even more valuable
So with your membership benefits and discount, your rates for counseling services remain unchanged for 2018.
And, to sweeten the deal, we’re offering you an immediate credit of $20 if you enroll before January 15. So, your membership for the first month will cost only $27! Just follow the steps at the bottom of this message.

What do you need to do to join the membership program before January 15 to receive a $20 credit?
- Go to DeltaDiscoveryCenter.com/Registration and create an account (every family member receiving services needs an account … but additional family members sharing a payment method qualify for a reduced monthly membership rate). Registration does NOT create a membership subscription. So, please register even if you’re not sure you want to purchase a membership.
- Watch your email for a message from Gala indicating that your account is ready if you’d like to purchase a membership. We set-up a temporary account for you to begin the conversion process from my manual system. Once you set-up a new account, Gala will carefully merge the records to preserve the history we’ve created.
- While you’re waiting, Like the Delta Discovery Center Facebook page . We’re holding a Grand Opening Giveaway Contest that you will definitely want to participate in! Our Facebook fans will be the first to receive updates.
- You will receive a link to enroll in the membership program. Gala (or her assistant) will be available to help you with the membership purchase, if you hit a snag. - Relax and work on your vision for the New Year! All members will receive an invitation for a virtual (online) workshop we’ll be holding on January 16th to support you in this process. If you can’t make it live, you’ll receive a link for the replay. Just an extra benefit of membership!
